Isynya, Kenya: May 2026
We are excited to share highlights from our recent eye medical mission trip to Isinya, Kenya, held May 25–29, 2026.
Our team arrived with approximately 700 pounds of medical supplies and equipment, including an eye surgery microscope, sterilizer, and surgical chair. Our team of seven, together with missionary couple Esther and Won Kim and local pastor Rev. Peterson Muchiri and his wife, Rodah, worked together to provide essential eye care to 175 patients over five days.
We are especially pleased to report that Dr. Kim and the surgical team performed 17 vision-restoring cataract and eyelid surgeries, helping bring renewed sight and improved quality of life to those in need.
In addition, we distributed 175 pairs of sunglasses and 100 pairs of reading glasses, along with glaucoma medications to patients who needed them.
It was a privilege and blessing to serve the wonderful people of Isinya, Kenya. We are grateful for this opportunity to make a difference in their lives and pray that God will continue to bless them all!
